You can download these new images to add to your photact system. The images are contained in library files and each library file holds a number of images. Remember that image files are large, so the libraries can take some time to download. Once you have downloaded a library, open your Photact software and click on the "Install Library Files" button. You will find this button in the tools section on the front page. There are library files for

• additional framing borders,
• images for use as backgrounds and highlights in the Photo Book Builder and Digital Scrapbooking,
• scrapbooking items to use as embellishments and highlights in the Photo Book Builder and Digital Scrapbooking,

To download any of these libraries, click on the library in the list below, or the "Get It" button next to that library. For help on downloading files, click here.

Backgrounds 1		A small library of general use background images (6 MB).
Scrapbooking Items - Birthday 1		A series of scrapbooking items with a birthday theme (2MB).
Scrapbooking Items - Christmas 1		A series of scrapbooking items with a christmas theme (8MB).
Scrapbooking Items - Flowers 1		A series of scrapbooking items with a floral theme (7MB).

To download the library file to your computer, click on the library in the list below, or the "Get It" button next to that library. The download should start immediately.

You should see a window that looks something like:

The window will look different depending on which version of windows you have installed.

You should select the SAVE option.

You will then be asked to select the folder you want to save the files into. It is important that you remember where you are putting the file because you will need to be able to find it later.

When the download is complete you will see a window that looks something like :

You should click on the OPEN FOLDER option and the folder containing the downloaded file will open automatically. You can also open the folder using windows explorer if you know where it is.

The downloaded library file will be a .phu file. For example, the library file for the Backgrounds 1 library above is called LibBacks.phu. Remember that you may have your computer set to not show file extensions. If that is the case, you may not see the .phu section of the name.

To install the images from the library file into your Photact system, open the Photact program and click on the "Install Library Files" button. You will find this button in the tools section on the front page. The system allows you to choose the library files you want to install. Browse to find the file you have downloaded and then click on the "Install" button.
