To download the software to your computer, click on the 'DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE NOW' button above. the download should start immediately.

The Photact software has been specifically designed to download quickly and easily to your computer. The full download should take around 30 seconds on a standard broadband connection. It may take longer on slower connections such as dial-up, and will be significantly faster on fast broadband connections.

Once the file is downloaded you will have everything required to run the Photact system. There is no need to wait for long downloads from the internet to build your products and you do not need to upload your images to someones website before building your product. Everything happens on your computer.

You should see a window that looks something like:

The window will look different depending on which version of windows you have installed.

You should select the SAVE option.

You will then be asked to select the folder you want to save the files into. It is important that you remember where you are putting the file because you will need to be able to find it later.

When the download is complete you will see a window that looks something like :

You should click on the OPEN FOLDER option and the folder containing the downloaded file will open automatically. You can also open the folder using windows explorer if you know where it is.

In that folder search for the file "photact.exe". The file will have an icon that looks like :

Double click on that file to start the installation project.

Follow all the prompts through the installation process. If you are unsure about any of the questions asked during the installation process, accept the default option and the program will install correctly.

At the end of the installation process there will be a Photact icon on your desktop. You can start the program by double clicking on that icon. You can also start the program by clicking on the 'Windows' or 'Start' button in the bottom left of the screen, then clicking on 'All Programs'. Select 'Photact' from the program list, then 'Photact' again to start the program.
